Construction Supervision & Management

JEB provides construction supervision and management services for earthworks and civil infrastructure such as roads, railways, and airfields.

  • Quality Control in Situ & Laboratory
  • Project Management & Supervision
  • Design Authoring & Change Requests
  • Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) Supervision

Aerial Surveys

Drone surveying is the process of surveying an area with an unmanned aerial vehicle and downward-facing sensors to obtain geospatial data. We offer two remote sensing methods, photogrammetry and lidar. Surveys with drones are an excellent asset in the fields of engineering and construction. These devices are capable of rapidly producing highly accurate point clouds, orthophotography, and digital models of land areas.

Our data collection services aid in land development, construction projects, archaeology, forest and agriculture management, and so much more. Learn more about our remote sensing services.

Pavement Construction Supervision

We supervise and control pavement material application and quality using a multitude of tests and equipment such as the troxler, the sand cone test (verifies density and moisture content requirements), the plate bearing test, and others. Laboratory testing is performed on gathered soil, asphalt and concrete samples to ensure quality.

Equipment & Testing:

  • Troxler (nuclear density guage)
  • Sand Cone Test
  • Plate & Dial Gauge (bearing and deflection test)
  • Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (TRL and light model)
  • Pavement Coring
  • Laboratory Tests

Earthworks Supervision

JEB’s earthworks supervision services ensures filling and compaction meet the correct standards. An engineering team supervises the construction and assesses material quality.

Equipment & Testing:

  • Troxler (nuclear density guage)
  • Sand Cone Test
  • Plate & Dial Gauge (bearing and deflection test)
  • CBR
  • Proctor

Laboratory Testing

We provide laboratory testing for various materials such as soils, rocks, water, concrete, rebar, and more to determine material properties. The results of laboratory tests are crucial for analysis and design. During an investigation, we log dates, times, locations, and other information concerning each material sample gathered. Then, a laboratory testing program is developed and specific laboratory tests are assigned to each sample.
