With more than 70% of Cambodia’s population engaged in agriculture, irrigation is the primary factor of productivity and food security.
As a technical partner in the Irrigation Agriculture Improvement Project (IAIP) in Takeo Province, we are proud to support the enhancement of Cambodia’s agricultural infrastructure and the empowerment of local Farmer Water User Communities (FWUC).
Our project team contributed expertise in the following areas:
Infrastructure Deployment: Coordinated the installation of three submersible water pumps.
Mechanical & Electrical Engineering (MEP): Supervised installation works.
Capacity Building: Conducted training sessions for community members
Through these technical improvements,we facilitated the expansion of the irrigation command area from 7,180 hectares to approximately 7,500 hectares— increasing cultivation capacity and water reliability for local farmers.
